SUBJECT:
Action Regarding a License Agreement with the Union Pacific Railroad for a 140 Volt Wireline Crossing

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:

During the construction of the Bailey Boswell Overpass it has been determined that a 140 volt electrical service is needed across the Union Pacific Railroad right-of-way. The electrical service will provide electrical service for the bridge lighting.

 

The license does not have an associated fee but does require that the City maintain perpetual insurance coverage stipulated in the document. 

 

 



FINANCIAL IMPACT:
N/A

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that City Council authorize the License Agreement with UPRR for the 140 volt wireline crossing.
