The terms of office for several members on the boards and committees listed on this item are expiring. Those members have been contacted. The majority have indicated they they would like to be reappointed. Their responses as well as a list of residents that have expressed interest in being appointed are included in the attachments. The list also includes positions that are vacant due to resignations. Action will need to be taken on each board/committee separately.  The action should include the acceptance of any resignations and the appointments/reappointments of members. 

Note: Several posts seeking persons to serve on the boards and committees were placed on the City's website and Facebook page with the deadline for applications set as May 1st. It was also distributed through the City's email notification system several times.

NOTE:  THIS ITEM WAS TABLED AT THE JUNE 15TH CITY COUNCIL MEETING.  A SUBCOMMITTEE CONSISTING OF COUNCILMEMBERS  COPELAND, BIGHORSE, AND LAWSON WAS APPOINTED TO REVIEW THIS ITEM AND MAKE A RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING REAPPOINTMENTS AND APPOINTMENTS.
