The Switchyard Food Truck Park is located in the southern end of Willow Creek Park at 752 South Knowles Drive. This innovative program began operations in August 2020 during the middle of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Our first day in August 2020, we had one (1) food truck. In the beginning, staff was challenged with trying to convince established food trucks to give “The Switchyard” a chance. Like any business, food truck owners want to be where they can make money. Over time, our program has grown to average over 80 trucks per month. In fact two (2) Saturday’s ago, we had ten (10) food trucks on location that one day.
