SUBJECT:
Action regarding Amendment to Interlocal Agreement With Tarrant County for the Bailey Boswell Overpass Construction
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
This amendment to the interlocal agreement with Tarrant County will allow us to include the construction of the traffic signal and pedestrian crossing at Knowles Drive and W. Bailey Boswell as an eligible expense for reimbursement from Tarrant County. The signal was not part of the original project scope and approval of this amendment will make it eligible for matching funds from the $6.5 million already allocated by Tarrant County.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The signal construction contract was approved by council on August 3, 2021 for $334,311. $167,155.50 would be eligible for reimbursement by Tarrant County.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the amendment. |
