Consideration and Action Regarding Rate Increase Request from Waste Connections for Solid Waste and Recycling Services
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
Waste Connections has requested a 2.97% increase for residential and commercial trash service. See staff memo for contract requirements and rate history.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
A 2.97% increase would add 38 cents per month (pre-tax) to residential bills and 2.97% to the current rates for each category of commercial dumpster and roll-off services
