Consideration and Action regarding Resolution No. 2021-28, Naming of Bailey Boswell Road Overpass
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
With the Bailey Boswell Road Overpass nearing completion, naming the bridge in honor of Tarrant County Commissioner J.D. Johnson has been suggested. Prior to being elected to the office of Tarrant County Precinct 4 Commissioner, he served on the Saginaw City Council (1963-1965 and 1979-1980) then as Mayor from 1980 to 1986. His many contributions to citizens of Saginaw and Tarrant County are included in the attachments. Resolution No. 2021-28 addresses naming the bridge "Commissioner J.D. Johnson Bridge".
