Consideration and Action regarding Resolution No. 2019-14, Canvassing Returns and Declaring Results of Run-Off Election for Council Place 1 held on June 8, 2019
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The run-off election for Council Place 1 was held on Saturday, June 8th. The "unofficial" results are as follows: Shawn Morrison 67 votes and Charles E. Beasley - 68 votes. Tarrant County Elections should release the "official" results in the next few days and Resolution No. 2019-14 will be updated if there are any changes in the numbers.
