Action regarding Approval for Weaver and Tidwell, LLP to perform the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Audit
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
After a request for proposals for professional auditing services, on June 18, 2019 the City Council awarded a two year contract with the option of three one year extensions to Weaver and Tidwell to perform audit services for fiscal years 2018-2019 and 2019-2020. The audit recently completed was the first of the three extensions.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Weaver Tidwell's 2019 proposal included annual increases after the initial two year contract not to exceed 2% per year. The estimated cost for the FY2021-2022 audit is $47,754. If a single audit is required, there will be an additional $5,200 charge.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of Weaver and Tidwell, LLP for perform the FY2021-2022 audit. |
