Consideration and Action regarding Agreement between the City of Saginaw and Community Link Mission, Inc. for the Operation and Promotion of the Farmer's Market at Saginaw Switchyard for 2022
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The proposed agreement with Community Link Mission, Inc. for 2022 is basically the same as the 2021 agreement. It covers the operation of the Farmer's Market at the Switchyard. The only changes are the dates, the annual amount, and the wording on page 2, 3. Covenants of CLM to the City. (3). This section has been updated to reflect the amendment approved in February 2021. The annual amount has decreased from $30,000 to $29,000.
Whitney Berry, the Farmer's Market Coordinator, will be at the meeting to give a brief presentation.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The financial impact will be $29,000 payable in monthly installments from February 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022. Funds in the amount of $30,000 are budgeted in Account 21-5245-32-00, Hotel/Motel Tax, Contract Services for this expenditure.
