BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The 2021-2022 Budget contains a Capital Outlay/Special Request for an Awning for the Fleet Maintenance Center in the amount of $60,000. The proposed awning will have dimensions of 86’ x24’x16’with sheet metal roof and steel posts.
Competitive bids were received from three vendors and the Low Bid was G&R Handyman Service who submitted a bid of $59,900.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The total financial impact will be $59,900. Funds are available in the Fleet Maintenance Budget (Account 01-7000-12-00).
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends authorization of the construction of an Awning for the Fleet Maintenance Center in the amount of $59,900 by G&R Handyman Service.
