BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The Highland Station Tennis Court has experienced increased use in recent years. The surface is currently plain concrete. Staff solicited bids to install new surfacing, net, striping and the installation of pickleball lines.
The low bid is Master System Courts which submitted a bid of $17,258.91. Master System Courts is a vendor listed on Buy Board.
On February 7, 2022, the item was presented to the Park and Recreation Advisory Board who approved a recommendation to City Council to enter into an agreement with Master System Courts to install the improvements.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The Fiscal Impact is $17,258.91. Funds are available in the Parks Donation Fund that currently has a balance of $140,845.48.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council authorize an agreement with Master System Courts to install the improvements at a cost of $17,258.91.
