BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
On September 3, 2019, the City Council approved a Specific Use Permit to allow a Skilled Nursing Facility on the northeast corner of W. McLeroy Blvd. and Knowles Dr. The development is under construction and nearing completion.
The construction of sidewalks along the frontage of the facility was deferred pending the upcoming reconstruction of Knowles Dr. and W. McLeroy Blvd. Knowles Dr. and W. McLeroy Blvd. are both projects approved for reconstruction in the City’s 2020 Bond Election.
The Developer Escrow Agreement will escrow $43,933.95 for sidewalks to be constructed along the frontage. The developer will have no further obligations for sidewalk construction upon approval of this agreement.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The Financial Impact will be the acceptance and escrow of $43,933.95 for sidewalks to be constructed along Knowles Dr. and W. McLeroy Blvd.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the Developer Escrow Agreement.
