Consideration and Action regarding award of bid for Professional Audit Services
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
A Request for Proposals (RFP) for Professional Auditing Services was issued on May 8, 2019. The City received five proposals by the May 23, 2019 deadline. A committee comprised of the Assistant City Manager, the Police Chief, and the Finance Director reviewed the proposals as outlined in the RFP. Based on the review and scoring criteria, the committee recommends awarding the bid to Weaver and Tidwell.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The cost of professional auditing services for the next two years will be $45,000 and $45,900. The FY18/19 budget for audit services is $50,000.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends awarding a contract to Weaver and Tidwell for professional auditing services. |
