EMS Week proclamation and a general update from our partner agency Medstar.  

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:

The week of May 15-21, 2022 is designated as the 47th annual National EMS Week across the country and as such we would like to officially proclaim our city's recognition of May 15-21, 2022 as Emergency Medical Services Week in Saginaw with the theme "EMS: RISING TO THE CHALLENGE"  

 

Prior to the proclamation members of leadership from Medstar would like to provide a general state of Medstar to Council and the community.

None

RECOMMENDATION:
Designation through proclamation of May 15-21, 2022 as Emergency Medical Services week in Saginaw and opportunity for Medstar staff to present a general update.
