BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The proposed agreement and contract with Tarrant County is for election services for the May 7, 2022 General Election. As in prior years, Tarrant County Elections Administration will provide the services, personnel, and equipment for early voting as well as voting on Election Day. Early voting will be held at multiple Vote Centers throughout Tarrant County from April 15th through May 3rd. The local Vote Center for early voting will be the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD Administration Building 6- Training Room (1200 Old Decatur Rd.).
Voting on Election Day will also be held at multiple Vote Centers throughout Tarrant County. The local Vote Centers will be the John Ed Keeter Public Library (355 W. McLeroy Blvd.) and the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD Administration Building 6 - Training Room (1200 Old Decatur Rd.).
A list of all Vote Centers for early voting and Election Day voting is included with the proposed contract.
Note: This agreement and contract also includes election services for a run off election on June 18, 2022, if needed.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The total financial impact is estimated to be $8,687.82 including a deposit of $6,520.00 due fifteen days after execution of the proposed agreement. A total of $10,000 is included in the General Administrative Budget (Account 01-5000-02, Election Expenses) for election expenses. (This is an estimate. The actual costs could be higher if a run off election is necessary.)

Staff recommends approval.
