PUBLIC HEARING - Consideration and Action regarding Resolution No. 2022-11, Re-adopting Guidelines and Criteria for Tax Abatement Agreements
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
Resolution No. 2022-11 re-adopts the guidelines and criteria for tax abatements within the City of Saginaw. The City is required to review and adopt guidelines every two years. Re-adoption of the guidelines and criteria in 2020 was overlooked (possibly due to partial shut down during COVID). Therefore it is necessary to hold a public hearing on this item. There are no changes to the guidelines and criteria adopted in previous years. The resolution and guidelines have been reviewed by the City Attorney.
