Consideration and Action regarding Resolution No 2022-14, Calling for a Run-Off Election for Councilmember Place 1
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
Resolution No. 2022-14 calls the run-off election for Councilmember Place 1. Since none of the three candidates received over 50% of the votes cast at the May 7, 2022 Election, a run-off election must be held between the two candidates that received the most votes. Those candidates according to the unofficial election results are Charles Beasley and Paul Felegy. The run-off election will be held on Saturday, June 18th.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The financial impact will be the expense of the run-off election.

Staff recommends approval of Resolution No. 2022-14 calling for a run-off election for Councilmember Place 1. |
