This program was developed by the Keep Saginaw Beautiful Committee (KSB) in 2016 and is based on programs that a number of communities in the state and US have in place to recognize Saginaw businesses and business owners whose properties reflect pride of ownership and commitment to the beautification of the city thereby contributing in a positive manner to the overall appearance of the city of Saginaw Texas. At the April 5, 2022 City Council Meeting, staff presented this program to you.

 In early July 2022, we received our first nomination for the award “Saginaw Sonic Drive-In”. They were nominated in the Best Improved Category. The nominator said the following “Recent updates to trim makes it look sharp…they always keep their landscaping neat and tidy while also celebrating and decorating for the holidays. We love Saginaw’s Sonic!”

 At the July 18, 2022 Keep Saginaw Beautiful Committee Meeting, the Committee voted to approve the nomination and are recommending that the City Council approve the award for Best Improved to Saginaw’s Sonic Drive-In.
