PUBLIC HEARING - Consideration and Action regarding an Ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Saginaw, Texas regarding the Regulation of Carports (Ordinance No. 2022-15)
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
This item is a public hearing. Proposed Ordinance No. 2022-15 eliminates carport overlay districts but retains the supplemental conditions. It would also allow applications for carports through a specific use permit in residential areas. The Planning and Zoning Commission considered this item at their meeting on August 9, 2022 and voted to recommend approval to the City Council.
