SUBJECT:

Consideration and Action regarding Amending the Code of Ordinances, Appendix A (Zoning Ordinance No. 2002-04) Amending Article 5 "Permitted Uses", Article 6 "Zoning Districts", Article 8 "Supplemental District Regulations", and Article 12 "Definitions", providing for Standards relating to a new Neighborhood Mixed-Use Zoning District (Ordinance No. 2022-11)

 

NOTE: THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS HELD AT THE 8/16/2022 CITY COUNCIL MEETING.  THE CITY COUNCIL VOTED TO TABLE THIS ITEM.



BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
Ms. Abra Nusser of Peloton Land Solutions will be present to give an overview of the proposed ordinance which creates a neighborhood mixed-use zoning district.  The Planning & Zoning Commission considered this item at their meeting on August 8th.  They voted unanimously to recommend approval to the City Council.

RECOMMENDATION:
The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval.
