SUBJECT:
Consideration and Action regarding Saginaw Switchyard Expansion

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:

This is a request for consideration for the expansion of the Saginaw Switchyard.   Due to the success of the Saginaw Switchyard, there is a need to expand.  There is just enough room available to add one more pavilion and an additional loop to the food truck area.  An exhibit prepared by Kimley-Horn & Associates is included in the attachments.  It also includes the estimated cost for the proposed expansion which is $370,000.

 

 

This item is scheduled for consideration by the Advisory Recreation and Parks Board at their meeting on Monday, September 19th.  



FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The estimated financial impact is $370,000 and will be funded from the future Park Bond Funds.  

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval and will inform the Council of the recommendation from the Advisory Recreation and Parks Board.
