BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
Resulting from the direction of the City Council, City Staff consistently works diligently to take care of our municipal facilities. Recently, the Aquatic Center went through some repairs that were related to the 2021 Winter Storm. The Saginaw Aquatic Center was built and opened during the summer of 2007.
Below are items in need of repair prior to the 2023 season but are not related to the 2021 Winter Storm. They are related to this being a 15+ year old facility that is exposed to the elements 365 days per year. Over time, things begin to fail. We either repair what is broken or we close the facility. The direction given to City Staff was to repair the facility.
