Action regarding Proposal for Professional Services from Roof Technical Services, Inc. for Professional Engineering/Roof Consulting Services for the Police Department
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The Police Department roof replacement is complex and will be grant-funded. Therefore it is recommended that a roof specialist prepare the bid documents and recommend a qualified contractor to make the needed repairs. Roof Technical Services Inc. has submitted a proposal to cover the services mentioned. Due to the sensitive nature of the contents in the building including records, evidence, and IT equipment that have been or could be impacted by roof leaks and potentially compromised, the roof issue must be addressed soon.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The costs are outlined in the proposal.
RECOMMENDATION:
