Presentation of Government Finance Officers Association Distinguished Budget Presentation Award to Kim Quin, Finance Director and Stacy Hernandez-Lomeli, Management Analyst
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
This award is the highest form of recognition in government budgeting. In order to receive the budget award, the City has to satisfy nationally recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation. These guidelines are designed to assess how well and entity's budget serves as: a policy document, a financial plan, an operations guide, and a communications device. The City has received this award for 32 consecutive years.
