Action Regarding Contract for Independence Day Fireworks



BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:

Pyro Shows of Texas is the vendor who we used in last year’s firework’s show and we were able to book them for this year’s July 1st event.

The cost for this year’s show is $22,000 with a 50% ($11,000) deposit due when we sign the contract.

Last year’s 4th of July Celebration had an estimated attendance of 4,500 with an estimated 7,000 people in the vicinity watching the fireworks.



FINANCIAL IMPACT:
$22,000 which will come from the Parks Fund
