Action regarding Rejection of All Bids received for Finish Mowing/Grounds Maintenance of City Parks and Authorize Staff to Re-advertise for Bids
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The bid notice for Finish Mowing/Grounds Maintenance of City Parks was advertised on January 10th, January 17th, and January 24th with the bid opening date on February 7, 2023. The bid documents specifically required a bid amount per cycle. Three bids were submitted. Public Works Staff reviewed the bids and references. One bidder only submitted an annual amount. One bidder has more experience in the areas of landscaping and irrigation. Therefore Public Works Director Newsom is recommending that the bids be rejected and the staff be authorized to re-advertise for new bids.
