Fire Department Salary, Staffing, Budget, and General Overview Discussion
Presentation to City Council by members of our fire department shift personnel regarding fire department budget, salaries, staffing and general service topics.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
Fire department shift personnel have asked for opportunity to present to the City Council some information to help assist in the upcoming budget considerations. Presentation will include brief overview of the FD budget, compensation considerations, service levels, training and education, regional recruiting competitiveness, and staffing needs.
Presenting will be shift personnel representing our Local 3812 of the Professional Firefighters Association:
