Consideration and Action regarding Resolution No. 2023-13, Canvassing Returns and Declaring Results of Special Election held on May 6, 2023 to determine whether the voters of the City of Saginaw desire to continue a Sales and Use Tax for Street Maintenance in the City

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:

Resolution No. 2023-13 canvasses the returns of the Special Election held on May 6, 2023 to determine whether voters desired to continue a Sales and Use Tax for Street Maintenance.  

 

 

NOTE:  AT THE TIME THE PACKET WAS POSTED, TARRANT COUNTY ELECTIONS HAD NOT RELEASED THE OFFICIAL RETURNS.  I EXPECT TO RECEIVE THE OFFICIAL RETURNS ON MONDAY. THE NUMBERS IN THE RESOLUTION ARE FROM THE UNOFFICIAL RESULTS (HIGHLIGHTED IN YELLOW).  IF THERE ARE ANY CHANGES WHEN I RECEIVE THE OFFICIAL RETURNS THE RESOLUTION WILL BE REVISED ACCORDINGLY PRIOR TO THE MEETING.
