SUBJECT:
Action regarding Interlocal Agreement with Fort Worth Transportation Authority (“Trinity Metro”) for Tarrant County Transportation Services for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities for the period of October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The proposed Interlocal Agreement with the Fort Worth Transportation Authority (“Trinity Metro”) for Tarrant County Transportation Services is for the period of October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020. It is basically the same as the current agreement with no increase in cost to participants or the City. The City is allocated one day (Monday) each week as the primary designated day for transportation. By participating in the program, qualifying residents of Saginaw are entitled to a one-way trip fare of $2.50. The annual cost for the City’s participation is $1,795.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The financial impact will be $1,795. Funds for this expenditure are budgeted in the Community Services Budget, Senior Center Programs, Account # 01-5235-0800.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the Interlocal Agreement with Fort Worth Transportation Authority (“Trinity Metro”) for Tarrant County Transportation Services for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities for the period of October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020. |
