SUBJECT:

Action regarding purchase of one 2019 Polaris ATV for the Parks Department



BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:

The 2019-20 Parks budget included funds in the amount of $12,000 for the purchase/replacement of an ATV. Bids were received from two bidders. The low bidder provided a bid for a two seated ATV versus a single seated.

 

Bids were received from the following:

 

Dealership                              Bid

Grapevine Powersports           $10,783.21

Freedom Powersports             $11,753.68

 



FINANCIAL IMPACT:

The total financial impact will be $10,783.21. Funds in the amount of $12,000 are budgeted for the replacement of the ATV (Parks, Account 01-7000-07-00, Capital Outlay/Special Request).



RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval of the purchase of one 2019 ATV from Grapevine Powersports for the Parks Department.
