BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The 2019-20 Drainage Departments included budgeted funds in the amount of $135,000 each for the purchase of a new Boom Arm Mower and Tractor. The purchase will be made through Zimmerer Kubota & Equipment, Inc. utilizing the Buy Board Cooperative Purchasing contract.
The total amount of the purchase is $123,275.78 ($58,834.18 boom arm mower, $64,441.60 tractor).
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The total financial impact will be $123,275.78. Funds in the amount of $135,000 is budgeted for the replacement of the Drainage Department’s Boom Arm Mower and Tractor (Drainage, Account 14-7000-00-00, Capital Outlay/Special Request).
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the purchase of one Boom Arm Mower and Tractor for the Drainage Department from Rockdale Country Ford utilizing the Buy Board Cooperative Purchasing contract in the total amount of $123,275.78.
