BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The 2019-20 Water and Wastewater Department budget included funds in the amount of $110,000 for the purchase of a new Sewer Main Camera. The Department’s existing camera is over 10 years old and has exceeded its useful life. The purchase will be made through Lonestar Municipal Equipment utilizing the Buy Board Cooperative Purchasing contract.
The total amount of the purchase is $105,557.00.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The total financial impact will be $105,557.00. Funds in the amount of $110,000 is budgeted for the replacement of the Water and Wastewater Sewer Main Camera (Water and Wastewater, Account 14-7000-00-00, Capital Outlay/Special Request).
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the purchase of one Sewer Main Camera for the Water and Wastewater Department from Lonestar Municipal Equipment utilizing the Buy Board Cooperative Purchasing contract in the total amount of $105,557.00.
