Action regarding Interlocal Agreement with Tarrant County for reconstruction and asphalt overlay of Burlington Road from E. McLeroy Blvd. to Minton Rd.; Anderson St. from Saginaw Blvd. to Bluebonnet St.; Hialeah Park from Saginaw Blvd. to S. Hampshire St.; S. Hampshire St. from Longhorn Rd. to Hialeah Park; Georgian Rd. South; and Normandy Ct.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The proposed Interlocal Agreement with Tarrant County includes the reconstruction and asphalt overlay of Burlington Rd. from E. McLeroy Blvd. to Minton Rd.; Anderson St. from Saginaw Blvd. to Bluebonnet St.; Hialeah Park from Saginaw Blvd. to S. Hampshire St.; S. Hampshire St. from Longhorn Rd. to Hialeah Park; Georgian Rd. South; and Normandy Ct. As in previous agreements, Tarrant County will furnish the labor and equipment. The responsibilities of both parties are specified in the proposed agreement. Projects are scheduled as Tarrant County's workload permits.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Funds to cover these expenditures are budgeted in multiple accounts in the 2019-20 Street Maintenance Fund Budget.
