BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
With the passage of Senate Bill 2, there are changes in terminology, calculation methodology, and timing of the tax rate adoption process. The tax rate calculation may also be affected by the Governor's disaster declaration.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The tax rate impacts funding of the FY20/21 budget.
RECOMMENDATION:
This is a workshop to discuss issues affecting the FY20/21 budget. No action will be taken.
