Consideration and Action regarding an Individual Project Order (IPO) with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. (KHA) for New Sidewalk Construction in 215-500 blocks of Bluebonnet Street (46^th Year CDBG Project)

On March 17, 2020, the City Council adopted Resolution 2020-06 designating the 46^th Year Development Block Grant Project (FY 2020) to be New Sidewalk Construction in 215-500 blocks of Bluebonnet Street at an estimated total cost of $200,000 with the City’s share estimated at $40,000. Tarrant County has confirmed that the City has received the grant and that KHA will be the engineer for the project.  

KHA has prepared an IPO for the project. The tasks included are:

The total amount of $40,000 Lump Sum fee will be applied as the City’s share of the project.

The financial impact will be the City’s share in the project which is estimated at $40,000. Funds will come from 2019 tax note proceeds. Account #06-4056-19-00

Staff recommends approval of the IPO with KHA in the amount of $40,000.
