SUBJECT:
Action regarding MedStar CARES Act Funding Request of $4,029.29
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
On May 19th, 2020 the City Council approved an interlocal agreement with Tarrant County governing the allocation of federal assistance funds. The City received the Tarrant County allocation of $1,230.900 on July 23, 2020. MedStar has submitted a request for a portion of the allocation for additional costs to provide service during the COVID-19 pandemic, please see attached memo from Chief Spears and MedStar letter dated August 7, 2020.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
MedStar is requesting a proportionate share of $4,029.20 from the City's CARES Act distribution from Tarrant County.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of MedStar's $4,029.29 request for COVID-19 related expenses. |
