Consideration and Action regarding Ordinance No. 2020-18, Amending Ordinance No. 2010-14 as Amended, Amending Animal Services Fees regarding allowed number of Backyard Chickens; Public Works Fees; and Rental Registration and Inspection Fees

Ordinance No. 2020-18 amends the Master Fee Schedule.   The changes to the fee schedule are highlighted on Exhibit A in yellow.   These changes include the following:

1)  Updating the Backyard Chicken Permit Fee schedule to reflect that a total of 6 chickens are now allowed (approved 5-19-2020).

2)  Updating the Mobile Food Unit Permit to reflect that the annual permit fee of $250 is due at the end of the initial 30 day period (approved 8-14-2020)

3)  Updating various Public Works Fees.

4)  Updating the Rental Registration and Inspection Fees (as discussed during Item 7).

The financial impact will be the increase in revenue from the increased fees.  

Staff recommends approval.
