BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
Waste Connections has requested a 2% increase in rates for residential and commercial trash service. See staff memo for contract requirements and rate history.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
A 2% increase would add 25 cents per month (pre-tax) to residential bills and 2% to the current rates for each category of commercial dumpster and roll-off services.
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council discretion.
