Action regarding 2020-21 Tarrant County Emergency Services District #1 Annual Contract Renewal
Renewal approval of the contract with Tarrant County Emergency Service District #1 to provide fire and EMS related services to defined unincorporated areas of Tarrant County.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The 2020-21 contract mirrors the previous year's contract.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
TC ESD #1 will pay the City a total sum of $97,020.00 for services our fire department provides in addition to providing a TC ESD #1 owned fire apparatus for fire response into the unincorporated areas. Also defined in the contract we applied and have been approved for a $25,000.000 grant from TC ESD #1. The grant funds will be used to purchase personnel protective firefighting equipment - bunker gear.
