Action regarding 2020-21 Tarrant County Fire Alarm Center (TCFAC) Contract
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The TCFAC provides fire and EMS dispatch service to the unincorporated areas of Tarrant County and to contracting municipalities. The City houses and provides managerial oversight of the TCFAC. In return the TCFAC provides some limited services to our fire department and pays the City a sum of $1250.00 monthly ($15,000.00 annually) for the services we provide.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
For services the City provides the TCFAC pays the City of sum of $15,000.00 annually.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the 2020-21 Tarrant County Fire Alarm Center contract as presented. |
