PUBLIC HEARING - Consideration and Action Regarding a Request by Community Link Mission to Rezone Lot 6, Block 6, Town of Saginaw Addition (320 S. Belmont St.) from Single Family (SF-4) to Neighborhood Commercial (NC) (Ordinance No. 2020-26)



BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:

 

Community Link Mission has requested a zoning request for 320 S. Belmont St. to rezone the property from Single Family (SF-4) to Neighborhood Commercial (NC). The purpose of the request is to incorporate the lot into Community Link’s overall development.

 

Community Links property is zoned Neighborhood Commercial. Community Link intends to replat the property combining it with Community Links’ main property to the north.

 

The Ultimate Land Use Plan shows the property as Neighborhood Commercial (NC).

 

The Planning and Zoning Commission considered the request on November 10, 2020 and unanimously approved it.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that City Council approve the zoning request as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission and revision of the official zoning map and Comprehensive Land Use plan in accordance.
