Consideration and Action regarding Ordinance No. 2020-27, Adding Section 6-42, "Bees" to Chapter 6 "Animals" of the Saginaw City Code, Providing Regulations Applicable to the Keeping of Bees within the City
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The subject of Beekeeping has been discussed at City Council Meetings held on October 6, 2020 and November 3, 2020. The Council directed the City Staff to move forward with the development of an ordinance addressing beekeeping in the City. Ordinance No. 2020-27 mirrors beekeeping regulations adopted by the City of Denton as discussed on November 3rd.
