Discussion of Future Facility and Bond Project Planning.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:

Based on feedback from the City Council, staff recommends the following bond propositions for discussion and consideration:

 

Street Improvement Projects-$36.3M (Please note: these projects could be 50% match eligible through Tarrant County)

 

New Library and Existing Library Renovation-$23.46M

 

Parks Improvements-$4M

 

**New Senior Center-$4M

The March 2019 facility needs assessment recommended dedicated senior center space of 15,000 square feet based on an ultimate population of approximately 35,000 residents.

 

Bond Package Grand Total-$67.76M
